Ablação

In the Ablation area, we operate in the Radiofrequency and Cryoablation segments

Radiofrequency ablation: A procedure that uses high-energy radio waves to generate heat in a controlled manner in order to destroy cancer cells.

Cryoablation: A procedure that destroys the tumor by freezing it, using a thin metal probe, which is guided toward the tumor by ultrasound. Then, very cold gases are injected through the probe to freeze the tumor, destroying the cancer cells.
